Ted Smith Construction of Bala Limited is a family owned company with more than seventy years in business. The company was started in 1947 by Ted and since 1993 has been operated by Ted’s son, Edward. It has consistently grown over the years with the ever increasing demands of Muskoka development.
Ted Smith Construction specializes in complete site development, including demolition and disposal of existing structures, foundation excavation, drainage and backfilling of foundations, septic system design and installation, driveway and parking lot construction as well as repair and maintenance of cottage community roads and landscape design and installation.
We also own and operate a granite quarry and sand pit near Bala. We have a number of trucks available to deliver a full range of aggregate products.
